It's official: I have reached 36 weeks of pregnancy. The baby brain has taken over all circuits. It's impossible to hide this big stomach. I cannot pretend anymore to be a business woman ... because I'm the only 'work' I'm able to do is nesting.
According to Paulo Coelho - The Alchemist - there are 4 obstacles to following your personal calling or dream.
First, we're told from childhood that everything we want is impossible
Second, love. We're afraid to hurt the people around us thinking that they will not approve of it or not love us if we go after our dreams.
Third, fear of defeat. We're afraid of being defeated in following our dream. We cannot fall back on the excuse "I didn't really want it anyway".
Four, fear of realizing the dream we fought all our lives. We're now so close to realizing our dream, but then we sabotage ourselves.
After much chaos and a broken car window (my Sentra, she is falling apart), everyone finally arrived at my place
Then we went to Laura's where we made dinner and exchanged Christmas presents.
Then we dressed up in a bunch of free clothes.
Ahem.
And then my camera turned into a giant jerk and thus we have no pictures until New Year's eve (at least until Kate and Laura email me theirs).
New Year's Eve however, we got ready at my place. Stacey did my make-up.
This one is a little better.
She also did Laura's
We all looked so very hot that group photos were in order:
The ones we took with the timer on Kate's camera are much better (hint, hint).
And then, because it would have been foolish not to, we pre-gamed and rocked our asses off.
And then we caught the bus downtown.
Laura and I really needed to pee. But instead we pretended to hate each other.
Kate and Stacey did it too.
Then we finally, finally, finally arrived downtown to party our asses off. But, much like we had to wait, you will too. Chapter two forthcoming....
Hola! Welcome to my photoblog. I have a feeling that this little beauty is going to make posting my pictures heaps easier. Heaps I tell you! Though to be honest I know little to nothing about it. Yet. Let's get started with New Years, shall we?
